Zodiac Time Beast 十二支刻獣 Gear Chronicle

"Zodiac Time Beast" (十二支刻獣 Jūnishi Kokujū) is a race currently unique to the Gear Chronicle clan. They are basically created from Dependent Card where Myoujin Ryuzu gaining from Stride Force. I guess if you watch the Girz Crisis series you will understand.

There are no effects related to this specific race so far and cards that have been revealed are Chrono Dran & Chronofang Tiger.

[AUTO]:Forerunner (When a unit of the same clan rides this unit, you may call this unit to (RC)) 

[AUTO] Generation Break 1 (This ability is active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone):[Put this card into your soul] When this unit is placed in your bind zone from (RC), you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to one grade 3 or greater card with "Chronojet" in its card name, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and at the end of that turn, return the unit called with this effect to your hand. 

I will keep update on this post whenever they are new Zodiac Time Beast unit released and they will be likely got 12 units overall.

Knight of the Sun, 2nd G Start Deck Gold Paladin !

Every Gold Paladin's players are getting excited over the new G Start Deck, Knight of the Sun. This constructed deck will includes further support for the Gold Paladin clan and also introduces you guys the keyword of "Unite".

But what really I wanna mention in this post is Golden Dragon, Ray Breath Dragon. Let's take a look at it.

(This card cannot be in your main deck) 

[Stride] (Released when both players' vanguards are grade 3 or greater!)-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.

(When this card Strides, it gains the power and name from one heart. At the end of the turn, return it face up.) 

[CONT](VC) Unite (This ability is active if you have called two or more units to (RC) or (GC) during this turn):This unit gets [Power]+5000. All of the rear-guards in your front row get [Power]+2000.

It introduces Unite in such a great way. Well, Ray Breath Dragon is just good where you can use it very well with Gurguit. Since the skill also is a Continuous skill, so you doesn't have to worry about the placing timing.

ALL NEW G GUARDIAN on Cardfight!! Vanguard

"G Guardian" (Gガーディアン Ji-Gādian) is an upcoming keyword exclusive to the G units, and introduced in Fighter's Collection 2016. Due to these new G units, the limit size of the G zone will be increased from 8 to 16 cards, after Fighter's Collection 2016 is released in its respective format.

Prayer of Holy Heaven, Leya

[G guardian] (Use it when both players' vanguards are grade 3 or greater, and you have three or less face up G guardian in your G zone)-Guard Step of your opponent's turn-[Choose a "HEAL" from your hand, and discard it] Call this card to your (GC) from face-down. 

[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (GC), if the number of rear-guards you have is two or more, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 until end of that battle.

Prayer of Holy Heaven, Leya is a G Guardian for Gold Paladin clan. As we were seen on the anime, G Guardians may have their own unique ability. As for Leya, it gets [Shield] +5,000 of your rear-guards is 2 or more.

Retroactive Time Maiden, Uluru

[G guardian] (Use it when both players' vanguards are grade 3 or greater, and you have three or less face up G guardian in your G zone)-Guard Step of your opponent's turn-[Choose a "HEAL" from your hand, and discard it] Call this card to your (GC) from face-down. 

[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (GC), choose up to one normal unit and trigger unit from your drop zone, and put them on the bottom of your deck in any order. If a total of two cards were put, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 until end of that battle.

I can say Uluru is one of the best G Guardian we have right now. The skill is very useful since now you may have up to 16 cards on your G zone. Gear Chronicle is always as good as they can be.

Sacred Tree Dragon, Rain Breath Dragon

[G guardian] (Use it when both players' vanguards are grade 3 or greater, and you have three or less face up G guardian in your G zone)-Guard Step of your opponent's turn-[Choose a "HEAL" from your hand, and discard it] Call this card to your (GC) from face-down. 

[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (GC), choose up to one card from your hand, call it to (RC), and that unit gets "[CONT](RC/GC):Resist" until end of turn. If you called a card, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 until end of that battle.

Rain Breath Dragon is the first G Guardian that was introduced in the anime. The skill runs the best with Neo Nectar own skill where for Ahsha deck you will a unit on your field to fully utilize its stride skill.

Last but not least,

Light Element, Agleam

[G guardian] (Use it when both players' vanguards are grade 3 or greater, and you have three or less face up G guardian in your G zone)-Guard Step of your opponent's turn-[Choose a "HEAL" from your hand, and discard it] Call this card to your (GC) from face-down. 

[AUTO]:[Choose a card from your hand, and discard it] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card. 

[CONT]:This card is also of all clans and nations.

Since this G Guardian is out, I hope Cardfight Area will update their game as soon as possible. Agleam can be use in any deck and its skill allow to refine your hand. If you run out of luck to Stride on your next turn, this skill might just be able to help you out!

[ACT](VC)[1/Turn]:[Counter Blast (3) & Soul Blast (3) & Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up] Choose any number of your rear-guards, and retire them. Your opponent chooses the same number of his or her rear-guards as the number of your rear-guards retired with this effect, and retires them. If the sum of units retired with this effect is six or more, draw two cards, Counter Charge (1)/Soul Charge (1), and this unit gets [Power]+20000 until end of turn.

Love it or not, this G unit is a hell of something! Distress Dragon is a new G unit from Shadow Paladin, another Dark Dragon G unit and focusing on wipe out entire field with huge cost and benefits.

Since the retiring is not consider as an ability cost, that's mean David, Charon, Dark Pride and moreover cannot be use with this guy. The skill is best to use if the sum of units retired with this effect is six or more. So, make sure your opponent rear-guards is 3 more to fully utilize its skill.

If you do, [Stand] this unit.". 

[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, look at five cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one <Flame Dragon> from among them, reveal it to your opponent, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck.

"This is the immortal apocalypse! Eternal Blaze!" - Dragonic Overlord "The Legend"'s Card Flavor.

We finally get to see Kai Toshiki new avatar, Dragonic Overlord "The Legend" in the show. Kai Toshiki even show how to actually use it's Generation Break 2 in the Cardfight between Kiba Shion.

So, firstly I will make a review about it's second skill, by placing it on your vanguard circle, you can look top 5 of your deck and add one <Flame Dragon> into your hand. It is a good skill for DOTL, since you can use the skill for Stride or prepare it for Generation Break 2.

However, what's attract me the most is it's Generation Break 2 skill! It is actually as good as Stride. By paying the cost, it gets [Power]+15000/grade+1/drive+1! And of course, the Dragonic Overlord original skill.

I'm sure all Overlord's fans will be loving this card. To collect this card you can easily purchase the second Legend Deck, The Overlord blaze "Toshiki Kai".

[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (GC), you may choose up to one card from your hand, and call it to (RC). If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 until end of that battle. 

Other effects are currently unknown.

G-Guardian is a new Guard for Cardfight!! Vanguard G. It was kinda shocked when Tokoha Anjou used to against Tokura Misaki where Sacred Tree Dragon, Rain Breath Dragon is used to guard overpowered 4 criticals Silent Tom's attack.

So, as we have seen in the anime, G-Guardian can be use by discarding a Heal Trigger. Other effects are currently unknown. There are few speculation about G-Guardian. Maybe for each G-Guardian will have their own ability, for example - Neo Nectar - "When this unit is placed on (GC), you may choose up to one card from your hand, and call it to (RC). If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 until end of that battle." Maybe every clan will have one even Cray Elemental.

In my opinion, this is a good evolution they put in the game, first, with existence of G-Guardian, player next time can considered Generation Break 2 skill as a good finishing move. Secondly, the usage of Heal Trigger on your hand. You may have draw it but it is still useful!

Demonic Sea Empress, Mairead | Granblue G unit Card Review!!

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down. 

[ACT](VC)[1/Turn]:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up & Choose a card from your hand, and discard it] Choose up to the same number of normal units from your drop zone as the number of face up cards named "Demonic Sea Empress, Mairead" in your G zone with the sum of their grades being 4 or less, call them to separate (RC), and increase this unit's [Power] by the sum of the original [Power] of the units called with this effect until end of turn.

Being GR in Fighter's Collection 2016 is not a joke for this Granblue G unit. Why do I say this? Mairead is the most impressive G unit for Granblue so far as I have seen. Don't get confuse of the text here. Mairead may can superior call units from drop zone according to the number of face up Mairead on your G zone but with a condition - the sum of their grades must be being 4 or less.

Which mean, okay, let's give an example. Let's say you Stride Mairead for the second time, assuming you already Stride Mairead and used her skill to flip another copy of herself. So now, when you activate her skill during your main phase, flip another copy of herself making you have 3 face up of Mairead on your G zone. Now we need to put a little maths in this.

3 face up Mairead = 3 units you can superior call from your drop zone, and those 3 units must be equal or less than grade 4. For example, one unit of Grade 2 & two units of Grade 1 or 3 units of Grade 1 or 1 unit of Grade 3 & 1 unit of Grade 1. Get it right?
