"Success" From Great Nature, How It Works?

"Success" (達成サクセス Sakusesu) is a keyword exclusive to the Great Nature clan, and introduced in G Technical Booster 2: The GENIUS STRATEGY.

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down. 
[AUTO](VC):Success 25000 (When your rear-guard's [Power] becomes 25000 or greater, this unit becomes successful until end of turn) 
[CONT](VC):If you have three or more rear-guards, this unit gets [Power]+10000, and "[AUTO](VC):When this unit becomes successful, draw a card.".
A "Success" ability only activates during your turn, when your rear-guard's [Power] becomes the stated number or greater (due to any method), then the unit possessing this ability becomes in successful state until end of turn.

Effect Use Timing

  • "When this unit becomes successful..." refers to when the unit changes from not being in successful state to being in successful state.
  • "When this card is successful and..." refers to that the unit must be in successful state while the second portion is occurring at the same time.
  • "If this unit is successful..." which refers to whether the unit is in successful state at that moment.

Murakumo's Dueling Dragon is Back!

[CONT](VC/RC):If you have a non-«Murakumo» vanguard or rear-guard, this unit gets [Power]-2000. 
[AUTO](VC):At the beginning of your opponent's ride phase, if your opponent has a grade 3 or greater vanguard, your opponent may choose a card from his or her hand, and discard it. If your opponent does not, your opponent cannot normal ride during that ride phase.
Remember this guy way back then? Well, ZANBAKU is one of my most favorite Murakumo all time, mostly because of his art and that CAPITAL name. So, I'm quite happy to see his new support even though most of people doesn't really care about him because he is under support sub-clan. Introducing!

[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] At the beginning of your opponent's main phase, if you have a card named "Dueling Dragon, ZANBAKU" in your soul, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your opponent's vanguards, and until end of turn, it gets "[AUTO](VC):When this unit attacks, choose a card from your hand, and you may discard it. If you do not discard a card, this unit gets drive -2 until end of that battle."
[ACT](RC):[Counter Blast (1) & Retire this unit] Search your deck for up to two cards named "Dueling Dragon, ZANBAKU", put a card from among them into your soul, call the rest of cards to (RC), shuffle your deck, and at the end of that turn, return the units called with this effect to your hand.
I'm definitely gonna play this guy back! But wait, WHY? Why the second skill is not VC/RC??? WHY?? I'm quite disappointed there. It would be better if the cost is [ACT](RC):[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)]. 

So basically it's probably good to play if you more extra ZANGEKI on your hand. First, ride it on VC, the second one play it on RC. Isn't you need to have 3 grade 3 then if you want to Stride as well. So my suggestion is play more Stride fodder with this deck to keep you have ZANBAKU on your soul, unless you are planning other way to put it in your soul.

"Secretscheme" New Evolution for Megacolony!

If you do, choose one of your opponent's rear-guards in the same column as this unit and that unit cannot [Stand] during your opponent's next stand phase. 
[AUTO] Generation Break 1 Secretscheme:When this unit is placed on (RC), choose one of your opponent's rear-guards, and that unit cannot [Stand] during your opponent's next stand phase.
So, Secretscheme is explained from this unit skill. It is also can be known best as Megacolony special ability where it can be activate if your opponent does not have any units at Stand in the same column as this unit. This skill can be easily activate since most of the time your opponent units will be at Rest after end of their turn.

You can get this unit from "The GENIUS STRATEGY" where it is the 2nd G Technical Booster released in the Japanese and English formats.

This 2nd G Technical Booster will includes 75 cards (3 GR, 6 RRR, 12 RR, 21 R and 33 C) + 3 SGR (Parallel) cards + 12 SP cards. 25 cards in total from each clan. There are 70 new cards and 5 reprints with new illustrations. Includes further support for the Murakumo, Megacolony and Great Nature clans. Introduces a new keyword to each of these clans; "Shadowstitch", "Success" and "Secretscheme". Each pack includes 7 cards, two of them being R or greater. Each carton includes 24 displays, and each display includes 12 packs.

Besides that, I also want to mention about this new guy, A Class Mutant, Sun Giraffa. It is the latest support for Giraffa where you can also have it in the 2nd G Technical Booster. The skill is IMPRESSIVE! It is basically made for counter back what opponent will likely to do with the Stunned unit on their field. So, now your stun won't just go wasted when your decide to replace stunned unit with new unit or use them as guardian.

I bet most of you already seen this G unit in the previous episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard G Stride Gate where Saya, the Idol Stride this G unit and beats the other two Idols. 

So, Celebrate Voice, Lauris's skill is depending on Harmony, not all where you still can active her skill to return few rears from your field into hand but the ultimate skill is when all of your units are in Harmony.

By giving 3 other rears or vanguard another 5k boosts plus a Critical plus on top of that, this G unit will likely give more pressure to your opponent during the late-game.

I have seen people has already talked about put Garland Blossom, Ayna in a combo with this G unit to fulfill the Harmony required and also another extra boosts.

CARDFight!! Vanguard [Preliminary Round] Team NightStorm VS Team Banisher | Cardfight Area


Welcome to Final Turn Clanfight!! Tournament 2016. In this tournament, few players will be divided to play few different random deck builds and the aim to find the best deck and of course the best team. Raindear (レインディア Reindia) New Support!

"Raindear" (レインディア Reindia) is a series of cards that include "Raindear" in its card name exclusive to the Bermuda Triangle clan. The first card was introduced in Extra Booster: Banquet of Divas, and later received its first support in G Clan Booster 3: Blessing of Divas.

Raindear activate their effects when you Drive check a Grade 3 card. They specialize on doing more attacks per turn by "bouncing"  their rearguards then calling new ones, or standing them.

Some of their support cards become Grade 3s when Drive checked to make it easier to activate the Raindear cards' effects.

[AUTO](VC)[1/Turn]:[Choose a card from your hand, and put it into your soul] When your drive check reveals a grade 3 card, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to one of your rear-guards, return it to your hand, and if there is a card named "Velvet Voice, Raindear" in your soul or trigger zone, this unit gets drive +1 until end of turn. 
[AUTO](RC):[Counter Blast (2)] At the end of the battle that your drive check revealed a card with "Raindear" in its card name, if this unit is [Stand], you may pay the cost. If you do, move this unit to your (VC), and this unit gets drive -1 until end of turn.

[AUTO](VC):[Choose one of your «Bermuda Triangle» rear-guards, and return it to your hand] When this unit's drive check reveals a grade 3 «Bermuda Triangle», you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to one «Bermuda Triangle» from your hand, and call it to an open (RC).
Imagine combo with these two cards, not only, gain more one more vanguard attack, you also manage to superior call another unit for another attack.

G Booster Set 8: Absolute Judgement is Coming Soon!



The new G units pretty amazing right? "Absolute Judgement" is the 8th G Booster Set released in the Japanese, August 26, 2016 and English formats, September 30, 2016.

This G Booster Set includes 104 cards (2 GR, 8 RRR, 12 RR, 22 R and 60 C) + 12 SP (Parallel) + 2 SGR (Parallel) cards. There are 103 new cards and 1 reprint. Includes further support for the Royal Paladin, Neo Nectar, Genesis, Gold Paladin, Link Joker, Dark Irregulars, Pale Moon and Granblue clans, as well as Cray Elemental cards. Includes a special reprint of Genesis Dragon, Amnesty Messiah as R. The SP Clan Pack does not include Gold Paladin nor Dark Irregulars due to their previous appearances. The package illustration is of Tokoha Anjou, Chrono Shindou and Shion Kiba. The booster's slogan is "Stride forth the destiny. The absolute judgementfight begins!".

If you see based on the poster you will already guessing that the upcoming G units are Sinner, Scharhrot, Mythical Hellsky Beast, Fenrir, Genesis Dragon, Flageolet Messiah and other G units that will likely from Pale Moon, Gold Paladin, or maybe Granblue clans.

[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)-card with "PR♥ISM" in its card name] When your unit is returned to your hand from (RC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your units, and it gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.
All Brandnew-PR♥ISM series is coming on the next G Clan Booster Set 3: Blessing of Divas. So, in this post I will talk about Brandnew-PR♥ISM, Garnet, Brandnew-PR♥ISM, Sapphire & Brandnew-PR♥ISM, Emeral.

Let's start with the first one Brandnew-PR♥ISM, Garnet as the card photo above. Garnet definitely got the interesting Limit Break 4 skill! By following the condition, Garnet can gets Limit Break 5 skill where this unit gets drive +1! All you need is Superior calls 3 units with "PR♥ISM". And Garnet second skill is activate when a unit is return from rears into hand. By Counter Blast 1 "PR♥ISM", you can choose one unit and give boost 5k to that unit.

[AUTO]:During the battle phase, when this unit is returned to your hand from (RC), if you have a vanguard with "PR♥ISM" in its card name, choose up to two of your rear-guards with "PR♥ISM" in its card name, and return them to your hand. If you returned two cards, choose one of your units, and it gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.
Do you see what I see? I can see people can abuse this unit because it works on either player battle phase, if you get the right call. All you need is a card effect that can makes Emeral return into your hand during the battle phase. I would suggest the G unit, PR♥ISM-Promise, Princess Labrador. Make sure you fully utilize the boost, whether give it to your Vanguard or your rear-guard.

[AUTO](RC):When your grade 3 or greater unit with "PR♥ISM" in its original card name is placed on (VC), you may choose one of your other rear-guards with "PR♥ISM" in its card name, and return it to your hand.
Last but not least, Brandnew-PR♥ISM, Sapphire. I couldn't ask more the new Forerunner. The skill can give activate during your Ride Phase or Stride-step. The best part about Sapphire is she remains on the field! It is the best use it with Stride deck, you can return a unit from rear-guard to hand on every single Stride-step. Marvelous!
