Cardfight!! Vanguard Zero (English version) May 2020 Event, Revenge of Crusher

The Cardfight!! Vanguard Zero's May 2020 event is finally here! This time it's about Revenge of Crusher - featuring Kyou Yahagi! Now Spike Brothers clan is available in the English version.

Cardfight!! Vanguard ZERO English version is now available in App Store & Google Play

Cardfight!! Vanguard ZERO is a digital Cardfight!! Vanguard game for smartphones. An English version is confirmed to be released on April 9, 2020. However, a PC version was released through Shiftgames and only for Japanese users on March 30, 2020.

The game follows the original 2011 anime series with now the Story mode available till season 1 where Aichi Sendou and his fellow friends up against Team AL4 in the National Tournament.

New Mechanics

Certain rules and mechanics are changed from the Standard Fight Rules to the fastest interaction, which is more mobile-friendly, such as:

• Some cards have new abilities, either for rebalancing purposes or to adjust to the changes in-game mechanics, as well as the card text was updated.
  
  
• Your deck must have 40 cards, where the only grade 0 card is your first vanguard, and you must have exactly thirteen cards for each grade 1-2-3.
  
  
• Grade 0 cards that would be called or added to the player's hand by a card effect are created from outside the deck similar to token units. Unlike tokens, however, those grade 0 cards are treated as part of the player's deck so they can exist in areas outside the field.
  
  
• Because the deck no longer contains grade 0 cards besides the first vanguard, grade 3 cards are now also trigger units. Additionally, the player can customize which trigger effect each of their grade 3 cards have during deck construction.
  
  
• There is a hand size limit of 9 cards. If a new card is put into your hand while you already have 9 cards, that card is discarded to the drop zone immediately.
  
  
• While the first-turn player draws a card, the second-turn player shall draw two cards.
  
  
• When your drive check reveals a trigger effect, that card is put into your drop zone, or when it is a normal unit, that card is put on the bottom of your deck.
  
  
• When your vanguard is dealt damage by your opponent's attack, that unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn, which is known as "Damage Shield".
  
  
• "Intercept" works differently, now it forces the opponent to attack a rear-guard with Intercept before attacking anything other units.
  
  
• During the battle that your vanguard is being attacked and will be hit, the Perfect Guard in your hand will activate by itself due to one of the conditions and be put into your drop zone:
• While you have three or more damage, your opponent's unit during that battle has two or more [Critical] after the drive check.
• The attack that would deal you the 6th damage.


• As a result of these changes, the guardian circle was removed.

Generation Break 8 can be achieved when you have a G unit on your Vanguard circle and 7 face up G unit on your G zone. It's not that easy right to survived that long? :)

Today I'm going to do a deck profile for Gear Chronicle clan, Interdimensional Dragon, Beyond Order Dragon build. Let's take a look at what cards will I choose.

[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (VC) or (RC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your opponent's grade 1 or greater rear-guards, and retire it.

Finally, Blaster Blade is back! Yeah, of coz since Aichi will be featuring on the next episode in Cardfight!! Vanguard G: NEXT. This time in Grade 3 just like Blaster Dark "Diablo". The first Stride skill is kinda predictable, since all the G units have "Saver" in its card name. So, by paying 1 Counter Blast you get to add one "Blaster Blade" card from your deck. It is just so Aichi, spamming Blaster Blade on each turn.

The second skill is common for Blaster Blade, retire an opponent rear-guard with 1 Counter Blaster just like "Blaster Blade Seeker" and others. It can used on rear-guard circle too. It is kinda disappointing for me actually. It would be better if you can Superior Call any Blaster Blade with Boost though.

And this card comes with the new Alfred G unit, Divine Knight King, Alfred Holy Saver.

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down. 

[ACT](VC)[1/Turn] Generation Break 2:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down card with the same card name as this unit from your G zone, and turn it face up, choose a card from your hand, and discard it] If you have a heart card with "Alfred" or "Blaster" in its card name, choose one of your rear-guards with "Blaster Blade" in its card name, and until end of turn, it gets [Power]+3000, and "[CONT](RC):During this unit's first battle of this turn, this unit performs Twin Drive!!.".

Okay, Alfred Holy Saver is quite interesting! The cost is relevant. So, you can choose one of Blaster Blade unit and give he a Twin Drive!! However, if only the unit attack on the first battle. Thus, you are available for Quintuple Pentadruple Drive (5 times Drive) on the turn you stride this G unit.

Last but not least I would like to include the new G Guardian, the beautiful one, Great Flash, Iseult.

[G guardian] (Usable when both fighters' vanguards are grade 3 or greater, and the number of face up G guardians in your G zone is three or less)-Opponent Turn's Guard Step-[Choose a card with "Heal" from your hand, and discard it] Call this card to your (GC) from face down. 

[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (GC), if you have a vanguard with "Alfred" or "Blaster" in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 for each of your rear-guards until end of that battle.

Basically, she only works with "Alfred" or "Blaster" vanguard, minus 1 over there. However, The art is gorgeous but the skill is kinda mehh. It depends on how many rear-guards you have. Its a totally disaster against with burning deck like Kagero and Narukami.

The returning of Aichi maybe awesome but his deck is disappointing.

So the third Legend deck, Aichi "The Blaster" is coming out soon. What got my attention here is this new beautiful Soul Saver G unit, Holy Dragon, Myriad Soul Saver!

You will need an Alfred or Blaster vanguard to fully utilize this G unit. By basically paying the cost, you can give your other 5 rear-guards 5,000 boost until end of your turn.

This G unit can be really dangerous in late game. I bet this G unit will be Aichi's ace G unit!

& June 2, 2017 (EN).

Okay guys, today I'm going to write a review about this Ultimate Gear Dragon, Chronodragon Gear Groovy. I believed most of the Gear Chronicle players already hype about this new G unit from Gear Chronicle clan and of course for those who are a Big fan of Chronojet Dragon deck build.

So Cardfight!! Vanguard G Stride Gate series is about to end, now we already know that the upcoming series will be Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT which will be available on 2nd October 2016. As seeing the promotional poster and teaser, we can see they will also introduce new characters. Let's watch the Trailer Preview!

As you were seen the Sakura trees, seems like Chrono Shindou will probably be entering the same school as Aichi Sendou, Miyaji Academy or Kai, Hitsue High School (unconfirmed). As Shion Kiba would probably entering Fukuhara High and Tokoha Anjou is still unknown. Each of them will also has each team maybe representing their school.

The new character also revealed that he will be using Shadow Paladin clan as the new Trial Deck - Ritual of Dragon Sorcery and G Booster Deck - Divine Dragon Caper will be coming out on 11th November 2016 japanese version I assumed and for english version will be out on the 9th December 2016 & 16th December 2016.

I am very hype about the released of the latest Shadow Paladin. I mean Dragon and Sorcery is just wonderful. The G Booster Pack also will be ncludes further support for the Angel Feather, Shadow Paladin, Narukami, Spike Brothers, Gear Chronicle, and Aqua Force clans, as well as Cray Elemental cards.

Deus Ex Machina, Demiurge! Lord of Zodiac Time Beast!

Deus Ex Machina, Demiurge is the ace G unit for Myoujin Ryuzu in the Cardfight!! Vanguard G series. It is also the strongest G unit in Deus Ex Machina series. This G unit can manipulate deck arrangement and also has the ability to limit Guardian when attacking.

It is not as easy as it seems to collect all different names of Zodiac Time Beast in Bind Zone but when you managed to do so it can be really overpowered. Triple triggers during drive check can be easily achieved with this G unit and you can also plan for further strategy during your incoming turns.

Deus Ex Machina, Ergos! Gear of Fate!

Deus Ex Machina is a new series for Gear Chronicle. I bet most of Gear Chronicle players are hype about this series. Most of them can be considered as villain in Gear Chronicle sub-clan in the anime. More of them will coming I believe.

This G unit is a on hit skill unit. I can see that Deus Ex Machina also can manipulate your bind zone in order to get 12 Zodiac Time Beast in it to fully utilize Deus Ex Machina, Demiurge skill.

Archsaver Dragon! New Grade 4 Normal Unit Resemble!

[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (3) & Soul Blast (3)] At the beginning of your main phase, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck, soul, drop zone, or damage zone for up to one card each, choose three cards from among them, call them to separate (RC), and shuffle your deck.

I am totally didn't expect this will come in the latest Promo card. Archsaver Dragon, a grade 4 unit from Royal Paladin clan will totally rocks the Royal Paladin players.

Its skill is a new one. By paying the cost at the beginning of your main phase, you may search up to one card each from your deck, soul, drop zone or damage zone and choose three cards among them and superior call as rear-guards. The best part is you can heal one damage thanks to its skill.

However, this card cannot be call to rear-guard circle in any circumstances. If I want to build a deck with this card, I will probably add only one card since the cost is kinda high. Any RP deck that need more souls will have problem with this card especially if you are planning to spam on Thing Saver Dragon's Legion skill to win a game.
